۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
