Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
