Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
