Do you not see that We have sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
