The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
