By no means! By the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
