And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 And (it was said unto him): Take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith, and break not thine oath. Lo! We found him steadfast, how excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And remember Isma'il (Ishmael), Al-Yasa'a (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 This (is for the righteous). And lo! for the transgressors there with be an evil journey's end, 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And they will Say: what aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the evil ones? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64
