The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
