Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 and the severally severing 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till a limit known? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
