Al-Najm 3 of 3
Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
