Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
