Whose word is better than his who calls to God and does the right, and says: "I am of the obedient?" 33 Good and evil deeds are not equal. Repel with that which is most just, and see, the one whom there is enmity between you will be as if he were a loyal guide. 34 But none is granted it save those who are steadfast, and none is granted it save the owner of great happiness. 35 And if there comes to you from Satan an evil suggestion, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 36 And of His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate yourselves before the sun, nor before the moon, but prostrate yourselves before Allah Who created them, if it is Him that you serve. 37 And if they wax proud, yet those who are with thy Lord do glorify Him by night and day, and grow not weary. ۩ 38 For among His signs is this: thou seest the earth lying desolate - and lo! when We send down water upon it, it stirs and swells [with life]! Verily, He who brings it to life can surely give life to the dead [of heart as well]: for, behold, He has the power to will anything. 39 Lo! those who distort Our revelations are not hid from Us. Is he who is hurled into the Fire better, or he who cometh secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do what ye will. Lo! He is Seer of what ye do. 40 Those who reject the Reminder when it has come to them (should know) that it is a Book inviolate. 41 Falsehood cannot enter it from any side: It's a revelation from the all-wise and praiseworthy (God). 42 Nothing is said to you which had not been said to other apostles before you. Surely your Lord is the lord of forgiveness, but also the lord of severe retribution. 43 And had We made it a recital in a foreign tongue, they would have surely said: wherefore are the verses thereof not detailed? A foreign tongue and an Arab! Say thou: unto those who have believed it is a guidance and a healing; and those who believe not, in their ears there is a heaviness, and unto them it is blindness. These are they who are cried unto from a place far-off. 44
