Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
