Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble, writers 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
