The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
