The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
