For those who fear God there are pleasure gardens with their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? 35 What ails you? How ill you judge! 36 Or have you a Book wherein you study? 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 Ask them which of them will vouch for that, 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 On the day when the Shin* will be exposed and they will be called to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. (Used as a metaphor) 42 Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). 43 So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies the Qur'an. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Or have they (the knowledge of) the unseen, so that they write (it) down? 47 Therefore wait for your Lord’s command, and do not be like the one of the fish; who cried out when he was distraught. (Prophet Yunus – peace be upon him.) 48 had his Lord not bestowed His favour upon him, he would have been cast upon that barren shore (and would have remained there) in disgrace. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds. 52
