Blessed be He who, if He will, shall assign to them better than that -- gardens underneath which rivers flow, and he shall assign to thee palaces. 10 But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a Blaze. 11 When it shall come into their sight from a distant place, they shall hear its vehement raging and roaring. 12 When they are thrown into a narrow space, chained together, they will plead for death. 13 "This day plead not for a single destruction: plead for destruction oft-repeated!" 14 Say thou: is that better or Garden of Abidance that hath been promised to the God-fearing? It shall be theirs as a recompense and a retreat. 15 a promise given by thy Sustainer, [always] to be prayed for?" 16 On the Day when He gathers them with all that they worship, other than Allah, He will say: 'Was it you who misled My worshipers, or did they themselves go astray' 17 They shall say: Glory be to Thee; it was not beseeming for us that we should take any guardians besides Thee, but Thou didst make them and their fathers to enjoy until they forsook the reminder, and they were a people in perdition, 18 “So the deities have belied what you state – so now you can neither avert the punishment nor help yourself; and whoever among you is unjust, We shall make him taste a terrible punishment.” 19 And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things). 20
