1/4 Hizb 31

And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnain. Say: "I shall recite to you something of his story." 83 Surely We established him in the land and granted him means of access to every thing. 84 One (such) way he followed, 85 until when he reached the very limits where the sun sets, he saw it setting in dark turbid waters; and nearby he met a people. We said: "O Dhu al-Qarnayn, you have the power to punish or to treat them with kindness." 86 He said: "I shall punish whosoever is wicked. He will then be sent back to his Lord who will inflict on him a terrible punishment. 87 "But whoever believes, and works righteousness,- he shall have a goodly reward, and easy will be his task as We order it by our Command." 88 Then followed he (another) way, 89 Till, when he reached the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had appointed no shelter therefrom. 90 Thus. And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge. 91 Then he followed a road 92 until, when he reached between the two barriers, he found this side of them a people scarcely able to understand speech. 93 They said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Lo! Gog and Magog are spoiling the land. So may we pay thee tribute on condition that thou set a barrier between us and them? 94 He said: better is that wherein my Lord hath established me; so help me with might, and I shall place between you and them a rampart. 95 "Bring me blocks of iron." At length, when he had filled up the space between the two steep mountain-sides, He said, "Blow (with your bellows)" Then, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour over it, molten lead." 96 Therefore Yajuj and Majuj were neither able to surmount it, nor could they pierce it. 97 He said: this is a mercy from my Lord; then when the promise of my Lord cometh, He shall make it powder, and the promise of my Lord is ever true. 98 ۞ And on that day We will leave a part of them in conflict with another part, and the trumpet will be blown, so We will gather them all together; 99 And We will present Hell that Day to the Disbelievers, on display - 100 whose eyes were covered against My remembrance, and they were not able to hear. 101
