▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 green, green pastures -- 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Man has not touched them before them nor jinni. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
