The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
