The prople of Lout (Lot) (those dwelt in the towns of Sodom in Palestine) belied the Messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 What, of all creation will you go to (fornicate with) the males, 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." 166 They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 'My Lord, save me and my people from that they are doing' 169 So We delivered him and his household all. 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 Thereafter We annihilated the rest. 172 and We poured a rain [of destruction] down upon them -- and how evil was the rain which fell on those who were forewarned. 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 And lo! thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
