Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
