The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 You will become three categories: 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 The reward for what they did. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 Gushing water, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
