Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a right way. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
