We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
