Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 who has set up another god besides God: cast him into severe punishment" -- 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves." 29
