Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On a straight path. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
