The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
