Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 till a known term decreed? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
