Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
