Say thou: O Mine bondmen who believe! fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good: and Allah's earth is spacious. Verily the patient shall be paid in full their hire without reckoning. 10 Say, “I am commanded that I must worship Allah as His sincere bondman.” (And so must you too.) 11 And I am commanded to be the first of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him). 12 Say thou: verily I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, torment of a Day mighty. 13 Say: "I worship God with devotion all-exclusive for Him. 14 (As for yourselves) worship what you will, other than Him' Say: 'The losers are surely those who lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Is that not a clear loss' 15 They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me. 16 And those who stayed away from the worship of idols, and inclined towards Allah – for them are glad tidings; therefore give glad tidings to My bondmen. – 17 Who hear advice and follow the best thereof. Such are those whom Allah guideth, and such are men of understanding. 18 Can he against whom the sentence of punishment has been justified (be rescued)? Can you save him who is in the Fire? 19 But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah: never doth Allah fail in (His) promise. 20 Beholdest thou not that Allah sendeth down water from the heaven, and causeth it to enter springs in the earth, and thereafter produceth thereby corn various coloured. Thereafter it wirhereth, and thou beholdest it turn yellow; then He maketh it chaff. Verily herein is an admonition for men of understanding. 21
