The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
