He it is Who made the earth smooth for you, therefore go about in the spacious sides thereof, and eat of His sustenance, and to Him is the return after death. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to sink beneath you and then begin to quake? 16 Do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven will not let loose upon you a storm of stones? Then shall you know what My warning is like! 17 Those who came before them also gave the lie (to the Messengers): then how awesome was My chastisement! 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. 19 What other army do you have to help you apart from Ar-Rahman? The unbelievers are surely lost in delusion. 20 Or who is such that will give you sustenance if Allah stops His sustenance? In fact they persist in rebellion and hatred. 21 Is he who goeth groping on his face more rightly guided, or he who walketh upright on a straight road? 22 Say: “He it is Who has brought you into being, and has given you hearing and sight, and has given you hearts to think and understand. How seldom do you give thanks!” 23 Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)." 24 They ask: When will this promise be (fulfilled)? - If ye are telling the truth. 25 Say thou: the knowledge is only with Allah, and I am but a warner manifest. 26 Then, when they see it nigh at hand, the faces of the unbelievers will be vexed, and it will be said, 'This is what you were promised.' 27 Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me-- rather He will have mercy on us; yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment? 28 Say thou: He is the Compassionate; in Him we have believed, and in Him we have put our trust. And anon ye will know who it is that is in error manifest. 29 Say: 'What do you think. If your water should sink into the earth in the morning, who then would bring you running water' 30
