The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
