▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
