The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
