Thorns (Al-Masad)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 Will have a strap of fibre rope around her neck. 5
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
