Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
