The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
