▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, by the Moon 32 and the night when it retreats 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 about the sinners. 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 "And used to deny the Day of Justice." 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
