Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 Warn the men. 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
