The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL THE night to witness when it covers over, 1 and the day as it rises bright! 2 and That which created the male and the female, 3 Indeed, your efforts are diverse. 4 So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah), 5 and believes in the truth of what is right, 6 We shall surely ease him to the Easing. 7 But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient, 8 and rejects what is right, 9 We shall facilitate for him the way to Hardship, 10 And his substance will avail him not when he perisheth. 11 BEHOLD, it is indeed for Us to grace [you] with guidance; 12 And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning. 13 and so I warn you of the raging fire 14 None shall enter it but the most unhappy, 15 Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs. 16 One who fears God shall be kept away from it -- 17 one who gives his wealth to become purified, 18 and confers no favour on any man for recompense, 19 only seeking the Face of his Lord the Most High; 20 surely, he shall be satisfied. 21
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
