Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 until you reach your graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
