The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 and the scarers scaring 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
