The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
