Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
