And mention in the Book [the story of] Abraham. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. 41 Recall what time he said unto his father: O my father! wherefore worshippest thou that which heareth not and seeth not, nor availeth thee at all? 42 "O my father! Behold, there has indeed come to me [a ray] of knowledge such as has never yet come unto thee: follow me, then; I shall guide thee onto a perfect way. 43 Father, do not serve Satan, for Satan has indeed been a persistent rebel against the Most Compassionate Lord. 44 O my father! I dread lest a chastisement from the Most Gracious befall thee, and then thou wilt become [aware of having been] close unto Satan!" 45 His father replied, "Abraham, are you telling me to give-up my gods? If you will not stop this, I shall stone you to death. Leave my house and do not come back again". 46 Abraham said, "Peace be with you. I shall ask my Lord to forgive you; He has been gracious to me. 47 I shall withdraw from you and that unto which ye pray beside Allah, and I shall pray unto my Lord. It may be that, in prayer unto my Lord, I shall not be unblest. 48 So when he turned away from them and those they worshipped, other than Allah, We gave him Isaac and Jacob. Each of them We made a Prophet, 49 And We gave them of Our mercy, and we made for them a reputation of high honor. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
