The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
