And what prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them, except their saying that, “What! Allah has sent a human as a Noble Messenger?”? 94 Say, "If there were upon the earth angels walking securely, We would have sent down to them from the heaven an angel [as a] messenger." 95 Say, "God suffices as a witness between me and you [all]. He is informed about and observant of His servants." 96 And he whom Allah guideth, he is led aright; while, as for him whom He sendeth astray, for them thou wilt find no protecting friends beside Him, and We shall assemble them on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf; their habitation will be hell; whenever it abateth, We increase the flame for them. 97 This is their reward because they disbelieved in Our signs and said, “When we are bones and decomposed, will we really be created again and raised up again?” 98 ۞ Have they not perceived that Allah, Who has created the heavens and the earth, has the power to create the like of them? He has fixed a term for them about which there is no doubt. And yet the wrong-doers obstinately persist in unbelief. 99 Say, "Even if you possessed the treasures of the mercy of my Lord, you would surely hold them back for fear of spending. Man is indeed niggardly!" 100
