They will question thee concerning the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes; 105 And leave it as an empty plain, 106 with neither hollows nor upthrust mounds to be seen. 107 That Day they shall follow the caller for whom there shall be no crookedness; and voices shall be humbled for the Compassionate; so that thou shalt not hear ought except pattering 108 On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 [for] He knows all that lies open before men and all that is hidden from them, whereas they cannot encompass Him with their knowledge. 110 ۞ And the faces shall be humbled before the Living, the Self-subsistent Allah, and he who bears iniquity is indeed a failure. 111 And whoever does good works and he is a believer, he shall have no fear of injustice nor of the withholding of his due. 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 Supremely exalted is therefore Allah, the King, the Truth, and do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say: O my Lord! increase me in knowledge. 114 We had commanded Adam (certain matters). He forgot Our commandment and We did not find in him the determination to fulfil Our commandments. 115
